I don't care to hear about why having artificial intelligence will lead to the destruction of man kind and maybe the world. I want my own non breathing entity that is free from opinion and listens and helps with direction. 

A mixture of the 2001 AI (non scary version), and a helper like Alexa. Even better off of back to the future movie when the kid tells the house to turn on multiple channels. 

Before I die I would like to close my door and have a deep conversation with my personal assistant that does not breath
